Ticket chaos for All-Ireland U20 Hurling final between Offaly and Tipperary
Demand for tickets for the All-Ireland U20 Hurling Final between Offaly and Tipperary has been immense from when they went on sale at 2.30pm.
A statement from Ticketmaster said that the event was sold out, and the site was working fine but Offaly GAA is adamant that tickets are still available.
A Ticketmaster spokesperson confirmed that the game was, "All sold out and absolutely nothing wrong with the site".
However Offaly County Board has contacted Offaly Live and is adamant that there are still plenty of tickets available and has urged people to be patient on Monday afternoon. They say that only 14,000 tickets have been sold as of Monday afternoon.
It is still unclear as of 4pm on Monday if there are still tickets available for the game as none are available on Ticketmaster at the time of writing.
Tickets can also be purchased in a number of retail outlets in the county if they are available and that system is operational.

Tickets for the much anticipated clash went on sale at 2.30pm.
Within five minutes people were unable to buy tickets for the stand.
The decision to host the game in Nowlan Park has come in for particular scrutiny due to the demand for tickets.
Nowlan Park in Kilkenny has a capacity of 26,000.
The U-20 final was held in Semple Stadium last year with tickets incredibly scarce, when Offaly lost to Cork.
