Aldi is recalling a spooky themed home decor item due to a major safety concern.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Kirkton House Pumpkin Tealight Holder presents a risk of injuries including possible choking.
If an incorrect candle size is used, the product can crack due to the heat omitted; this could result in pieces with sharp edges and pieces which could form small parts.
The affected products were manufactured in 2023 and there are approximately 1,536 affected products in Ireland.
The type/number of model is 729956, the barcode is 4061464788312 and the batch number is 09/2023.
Customers should stop using the product and return it to Aldi Stores (Ireland) Limited for a full refund.
