Gardai in Offaly have seized heroin, car and weapon after stopping a suspicious vehicle
Gardai seized the items after stopping the vehicle in Edenderry.
Gardai say the car was stopped because its occupants were acting suspiciously.
“Edenderry Gardaí out and about patrolling observed a vehicle with occupants acting suspiciously,” Gardai said.
“The driver fled the scene, the passenger was found to be in possession of quantity of suspected heroin. A weapon also found during search of vehicle,” Gardai added.
They said the vehicle was seized for not having insurance, tax and an NCT and investigations are ongoing.
