Offaly Fianna Fáil hosted its Annual Michael Loughnane Memorial Golf Classic at Birr Golf Club on Friday, 29th August, drawing a strong turnout of supporters, local representatives, and golfing enthusiasts from across the county.

The winning team on the day was from Photobooth Ireland, represented by Captain Jude Feehan, Seamus Feery, Martin Brady, and James Molloy, who delivered an impressive performance on the course.

Speaking after the event, Offaly CDC Chairperson Ronan Feighery expressed his gratitude to all involved: This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our players, our generous sponsors, and the dedicated team of organisers, especially Tony Flanagan and Jude Feehan  who put in a huge effort behind the scenes. We’re proud to honour Michael’s legacy in such a positive and enjoyable way.”

The day concluded with an awards ceremony and social evening in Molloy's Pub, Birr, where participants, supporters, and local public representatives gathered to celebrate the day’s success. Elected representatives were present throughout the day and into the evening, highlighting the strong spirit and unity within the party locally.
