GROUP 2 - SHINRONE

Manager - Mark Morkan

Coach - Conor Cleary

Selectors - Colin O Meara, Denis Coonan

Captain - Killian Sampson; Vice Captain- Darragh Landy

Absentees, long term injuries or retirements from last year – None;

New Players – None;

Star player – Killian Samspon;

Key players – Dara Maher, Jason Sampson, DJ McLoughlin;

Last year – Lost to Coolderry in the quarter-final;

Prospects – It will be very interesting to see how Shinrone go this year. After winning their first title in 2022 and losing to Kilcormac-Killoughey in the final in 2023, they ran out of road against Coolderry in the quarter-final last year. There is a strong case for making them third favourites. They have a lot of very good players, their age profile is good and they can hurt teams on any given day. K-K may be a bridge too far for them but if someone else did take them out, they could capitalise by winning a second championship. They are contenders but are behind K-K and Ballinamere in the pecking order at the moment.
