PLAYER RATINGS: How the Offaly players fared in Joe McDonagh final win over Laois

SUBS - Oisin Kelly - It is great to see Oisin Kelly back playing after such battles with cruciate injuries. Their recurring nature could have broken the resolve of a lesser man but he wanted to get back so badly and showed in the dead rubber win over Down that he was ready for involvement. Offaly's midfield struggles meant that he was introduced earlier than planned, though he was thrown into attack. He did a lot of very good things, running at the defence, spreading passes around and getting an excellent goal early in the second half. He also drifted out of the game and made mistakes but he won some great ball and made a big contribution to the win. Rating – 7
