PLAYER RATINGS: How the Offaly players fared in Joe McDonagh final win over Laois

Adam Screeney - As you would expect Adam Screeney was tightly marked, double teamed for much of it before being pulled off after 54 minutes. The decision to take him off was understandable, though there was also a strong case to be made for leaving him there as he always had the potential to get a score out of nothing and Laois would never have left him alone for a second. He got a very good first half points, had a couple of wides and not every ball struck but he certainly played his part in Offaly's win. Rating – 6
