Offaly and Tullamore GAA star Cormac Egan has been named on the GAA.ie team of the week after the latest round of Allianz Football League games.

Cormac, who was a star at wing back in Offaly's 5-15 to 0-10 win over Wicklow in Division 3, is named alongside the likes of Brian Fenton and David Clifford. 

The Tullamore and U20 All-Ireland Egan was was of the standout performers for Offaly, running into space and causing chaos for the Wicklow defence. 

Offaly GAA shared the news Cormac had been named in the team of the week. 

They said: "The Tullamore GAA club man seems to have found his home on the half back line. He was excellent yesterday driving forward, being physical in the tackle and working like a dog.

"His 17th minute bullet of a goal gave Offaly its platform to clock up an impressive 5-15. Well done Cormac from all at Offaly GAA," they said.
