Coláiste Naomh Cormac’s Transition Years left the place “All Shook Up” last Wednesday and Thursday with their outstanding performances of their musical production, “All Shook Up”.

On both nights, the audience were entertained by the amazing TY students who had put in a huge amount of work preparing for the show. For many students, they seemed to find a new kind of home on stage – especially for those who had never performed in such a way before. The many hidden talents of so many students were placed in the spotlight and they thrived in their new setting.

The musical is a mammoth undertaking each year. It would not be possible to produce it without the huge support the school receives from students, staff, the BOM, the Parents’ Association, and wider community. Our sponsors play a crucial role in making our musical a success, ensuring our students have the best possible platform to shine.

Senior Debating

The senior debating team won their debate in the knockout round of the Concern Debates against Loreto College Coleraine. Students were opposing the motion "Properly regulated, Artificial Intelligence will be a force for good in our world”.

The team are now through to the top schools in Ireland. Well done to team members Jack Flaherty, Logan O' Brien, Aoibhe Longworth and Sinead Gleeson.
