Last Thursday night Roscrea Trail Blazers had no walk - but instead they had their annual Christmas night walk on Friday night.
This walk is normally held at Monaincha Abbey but lately the conditions under foot have made it necessary to move it to Golden Grove and Orange Hill.
Starting at Dromakeenan School Carpark at 7.10pm the walkers headed under torchlight through the forest under perfect conditions and after 6km were back at the carpark where they were treated to home made baking, mulled wine and tea/coffee.
A fantastic night overall and a special thanks to Sandra Coady and family and Colette Sheppard for their help on the night Thank you everyone for your continued support during 2023 as without your involvement there would be no club.
They have a very busy year planned for 2024 and hope to see more new members joining them.
