Case against man adjourned at Tullamore District Court

SUMMONSES alleging forgery have been brought against an Offaly man.

Nigel Dunne (65), Turraun, Pullough, is accused of two counts of making a false instrument, to wit a vehicle registration certificate, with intent that it be used to induce another person to accept it as genuine.

Both offences are alleged to have been committed at unknown locations, the first on May 6, 2020 and the second on September 1, 2022.

Mr Dunne was represented by Patrick Martin, solicitor, when he appeared before Tullamore District Court.

Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the prosecution to a court sitting in October when either a plea will be entered or a date will be fixed for a hearing.
