Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit seized almost €40,000 worth of suspected illegal substances in two operations conducted in Roscrea.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of €7,000, subject to analysis, was seized during a search in the town on Wednesday, May 28.
Mixing agent and other items that Gardaí believe were associated with the drug were also seized.
The following day, members of the Divisional Drugs Unit carried out another search operation in Roscrea town.

This resulted in the seizure of €22,000 worth of suspected cannabis and another quantity of cocaine valued at €10,000.
One male was arrested and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
