Mairéad Cashen Slevin stuns Roscrea audience at May’s Black Mills Session

Roscrea Heritage Society was delighted to host Mairéad Cashen Slevin for May’s Black Mills Session.

Mairéad’s stunning vocals shone through when she performed a number of popular ballads such as Caledonia, Carrick Fergus and Home to Donegal.

Later in the night she literally raised the roof and brought the full audience to their feet with a powerful rendition of Ireland’s call. The society would like to thank Mairéad for a fantastic performance.

Save the date - the next session will take place on Friday 27th June when the society will host Johnny Keegan, Charly Ford and Liam Wright. This talented trio will play an eclectic mix of songs from artists such as Hank Williams, Leonard Cohen to Creedance Clearwater Revival and everything in between!
