International Junior and U20 Mountain Running Championships
Danielle Donegan led the Irish U20 team home in Mountain Running international on Saturday last, September 8, in Glendalough, while Dearbhail Cuddy was 2nd Irish girl home in the U17 race.

Marian Geraghty 10k
Jason Donegan was the winner of the 15th Annual Marian Geraghty Road Race on Saturday, September 8. The hilly testing course starts and finishes in Mountbolus. 2nd overall was Jonathon Dunne and 3rd Darren Butler. Pauline Curley took the lady title following a spell from racing due to injury. Great running guys. Tullamore Harriers results: Jason Donegan 36:54, Jonathon Dunne 38:55, Darren Butler 39:04, Pauline Curley 39:26, Sean Reynolds 45:48(1st o50), Una Mullen 50:49, Pascal Naughton 56:50, Pat Kennedy 1:00:02. Ann Marie Lawlor raced in the 5k posting 31:16.
Padriag Berry was 3rd finisher in the Kilcavan 5k on Friday evening, September 7. The race was won by Adam Holden (Mountmellick AC). Padraig posted a great time of 17:31. Well done to all the athletes who represented the club. An Ríocht Road Race Series
Jim Langan travelled to Castleisland, Co Kerry for the An Ríocht road race series. The first 5k race was on Friday 31 st August where Jim posted 28.05. The following week, Friday, September 7, he knocked nearly two minutes of his time the previous week, posting 26.19. Jim was also first o75 in both races. Well done Jim.
Rathoath Half Marathon
Super times were posted in the Rathoath Half Marathon on Saturday 08 th September. Leslie Buckley 1:29:49, Basil Cronin 1:28:57 and Rita Daly 1:37:59. Rita took 1st place in her age group. Well done to all.
Cork City 10 Miler
Well done to Melissa Hogan who ran in the Cork 10 mile road race on Saturday, September 8. Melissa posted 2hrs 12mins.
