Irish rap trio Kneecap have officially taken to the main stage at this year's Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois where they took a swipe at the Irish Government.
Tens of thousands of music fans danced, cheered and sang along with the group, which consists of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí.
They began their one-hour set shortly after 3:30pm and performed some of their most popular hits, including H.O.O.D, the recap and guilty conscience, among others.

The performance marks a pivotal moment for Kneecap, who were surrounded by many passionate fans, following months of controversary due to their outspoken support for Palestine.
The group recently had to cancel all dates for their American tour as it clashed with an upcoming court date for one of their members, Mo Chara. The front-man allegedly waved a Hezbollah flag at a concert in London in November 2024. He is now facing a terrorism-related charge as a result.
Mo Chara, whose real name is Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, denies the charge.
They told the crowd that they will talk about Palestine on stage at every gig to talk until something changes in Palestine.
They were also critical of the housing crisis, blaming the two main Government parties, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. They said 'F**k Michéal Martin' on stage to cheers from the crowd.
They also thanked Melvin Benn of Festival Republic for booking them, while some festivals have cancelled their performances.
