WATCH: Large thunderstorm currently tracking across Offaly as Met Eireann upgrades Thunderstorm Warning level to Orange

A large thunderstorm tracked across Offaly on Saturday bringing with it constant flashes of lightning, rattling claps of thunder and intense rain. 

The thunderstorm tracked from the Slieve Bloom Mountains in the general direction of Cloghan and Ferbane. 

On Saturday, Met Eireann has increased a Status Yellow Thunderstorm Warning to Orange for Cavan, Donegal, Clare, Connacht, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
