GAA headquarters will once again host the biggest day in the club calendar with the AIB GAA Club Championship Finals taking place on St Patrick’s day as Kilcormac-Killoughey (Offaly) meet St Thomas (Galway) in the senior hurling decider and the football crown will be contested between Ballymun Kickhams (Dublin) and St Brigid’s (Roscommon).
All of the clubs involved are chasing their first All-Ireland title and to add to the occasion the Finals will be an official Gathering Ireland event. AIB and the GAA will pledge a small fund to each of the finalists to allow them to bring someone home to Croke Park.
