The September/October edition of Offaly Life is packed full of fantastic local content

Autumn is the perfect time to settle in with the latest edition of Offaly Life.

Our team has been gathering inspiring stories from across the county - celebrating the people, places and passions that make the Faithful County unique.

Our calendar section highlights the county’s September and October events, including concerts, workshops, and festivals. The children’s festival Hullabalo! brings a host of creative activities to Birr, Clara, and Edenderry.

We profile musical maverick Mundy from Birr, currently on a nationwide tour, while Tullamore-born architect and town planner Fergal MacCabe reveals his “Seven Deadly Sins” and shares why he remains passionate about his native county. Cork-born Philip O’Brien tells his Journey to the Job as manager of the Tullamore Court Hotel.

Food lovers are catered for too. Our Eats Out and Meet the Chef sections feature award-winning restaurants and the talented teams behind them.

The Album showcases moments from the Tullamore Show, FBD National Livestock Show, and Birr Vintage Week.

From the bustling capital of Chile to the heart of Ireland, Mauricio Martino tells the fascinating story of Tullamore-based Heartworks and how his craft gives ancient slate a new lease of life.

From people and passion to food, creativity, and local stories, it’s all waiting for you in this issue of Offaly Life.

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
