Garda vetting service now available from Offaly Volunteer Centre

DEIRDRE

Deirdre Fox, Manager of the Offaly Volunteer Centre

Many of you reading this will be familiar with the process of Garda vetting.

If a necessary and regular part of your work or volunteering involves having access to, or contact with, children or vulnerable persons, then you will be required to be Garda vetted.

As part of their commitment to supporting voluntary and community organisations, Offaly Volunteer Centre are proud to announce that they now provide a Garda vetting service for Offaly groups or organisations who do not have a Garda Vetting Liaison Person within their own organisation.

Formerly a service provided by Offaly Local Development Company, the centre would like to thank them for ensuring a seamless transition of services from their organisation to ours.

If your voluntary, community or charitable organisation wishes to avail of the Garda vetting service, please email: vetting@volunteeroffaly.ie or nina@volunteeroffaly.ie or call: 083.0154669.

They will be happy to answer any questions you may have, train and guide you through the procedure, and act on your behalf.
