Annual General Meeting of Tullamore now refixed for Wednesday, January 15
THE annual general meeting of Tullamore Show and the FBD National Livestock Show – due to take place tonight, Wednesday, January 8 – has been postponed.
The Show Executive made the decision in light of treacherous road conditions brought on by snow and freezing weather conditions.
The AGM has now been refixed for Wednesday night, January 15 at 8pm in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore.
Meanwhile the usual Monday night weanling sale at Tullamore mart was cancelled this week due to road conditions.
GVM Mart in Tullamore said the sales had been cancelled due to treacherous road conditions caused by the snow and freezing weather.
It said the decision was made in the safety interests of its staff and customers.
A number of marts – mainly in the south of the country – have also called off sales due to the weather and road conditions.
