'Tullamore Gig for Gaza' takes place this Saturday
Tullamore for Gaza is holding 'Tullamore Gig for Gaza', a music/poetry fundraiser in aid of medical aid for Palestinians this weekend.
It takes place in Esker Arts Centre Tullamore on Saturday next, May 25, at 8 p.m.
This will be a celebration of Palestinian and Irish arts and culture, highlighting long-existing Irish-Palestinian solidarity.
Tullamore stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Palestine, said the organisers in a statement this week.
The line up features - Music: Dubh Lee, Hubert Murray, Radar, Gavin Ghee, Miya Matsushita and Adam Tahraoui; Poetry/spoken word: Mustafa Keshkeia, David Mallaghan, Nuala Leonard, Derek Coyle.
Tickets, which are €10 each, can be sourced on the Esker Arts Centre website.
