PALESTINE

A fundraiser for Gaza takes place his weekend in Tullamore

Tullamore hostelry, Lee’s Bar on Church St, will host a fundraiser for medical aid for Palestine in conjunction with Tullamore for Gaza and hosted by local spoken word artist, David Mallaghan.

The event takes place on this Sunday, February 4, starting at 8pm, with all funds raised going to medical aid for Palestine.

The event will feature some of the best local talent performing music, stand up comedy, poetry across two platforms in   the lounge and Seomra beag and djs in the beer garden.

A number of speakers will give some insights into the ongoing troubles in Palestine and organisers hope to raise funds to buy much needed medical aid for the children of Palestine and Gaza.

Entry is free but organisers hope people can donate on the night or through the website  www.leesbar.ie  for those who would like to support the night but unable to attend.

Organisers wish to thank all performers for giving their time and doing what we can to try and help ease the suffering of the victims of the conflict. Performances from Joe Wynne, Hubert Murray, Eoin Martin, Clav, Miles Greenway, Nuala Leonard, Elizabeth Redmond, Sean O Brien, Gavin Cowley, Dj Sonas, Dj David Digan and guest speakers.

With over 20 acts in total performing this should be a rousing and entertaining night while helping those in need.
