Clara native and past pupil of Killina Presentation Secondary School, Dr. Siobhán Buckley B.L. LLB., received her Ph.D. Degree from Dr. Fergus Ryan, Head of the School of Law and Criminology at Maynooth University recently.

Siobhán’s PhD research interests are in the areas of youth justice, young adult justice, comparative criminology, punitiveness, cross-sectoral differences between criminal justice sectors and transitions from youth to adulthood from a criminal justice perspective.
