Tidy Towns volunteers busy at work in Kilbride Plaza

Tullamore Tidy Towns are looking for volunteers to help with the many tasks the group is completing as part of this year's national  tidy towns competition.

In recent weeks the group has been out in force most nights completing litter picks, flower planting, weed scuffing, brushing and general tidying up.

Over the last fortnight the group performed  a deep clean-up  of the Daingean Road, Tanyard and Kilbride Plaza car park,  weed  scuffing and brushing. During the last week the group also painted fencing along Fiona's Way.

Tidy Towns volunteers have planted flowers in many of the large three tiered planters around Tullamore and also dedicated  planting along Bury Quay.

The group meet every Wednesday at 7pm at Kilbride Plaza, supplying tools, bags and litter pickers and you can stay updated through Facebook or on the groups website -  https://www.tullamoretidytowns.ie
