Last Saturday, June 10, there was a double celebration at Mountlucas Parkrun.
Declan Gallagher completed his 50th Parkrun and was joined on the day by his wife Patricia and daughter Mia, who are both regular Parkrun participants.
Fifteen year old, Owen Og Scully completed his 150th Parkrun, particularly impressive for someone so young. He was joined, as always, by his parents Enda Scully and Mary Rowan.
Lidl, who are national sponsors of Parkrun, will visit Mountlucas Parkrun on Saturday the 24th June where they will have fruit and tee shirts for all participants. The organisers of Mountlucas Parkrun are keen to have as many participants as possible on the morning, so are urging people to put the date in their diaries and to bring along their family and friends on the morning. Start time is 9.30am
