Tullamore is Ireland's sixth most British royal family obsessed town

PRINCE HARRY

Britain's Prince Harry has been making the headlines this week

The British royal family can be a divisive topic amongst Irish people - some decide not to give them the time of day whereas others are self-confessed royal fanatics.
With Prince Harry making headlines this week following the release of his memoir Spare, search engine specialists Digital Funnel have examined Google Search data from across the country in order to decipher Ireland's most royal obsessed town.
Searches for Prince Harry, Prince William, Prince (now King) Charles, the Queen and Prince Philip in the past 12 months were examined and they found that Tullamore is the sixth most royal family obsessed town in the country. Neighbours Portlaoise are second overall.
Mallow in Co. Cork leads the way when it comes to searches for the royal family.
Clonroche, Co. Wexford, Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary and Navan, Co. Meath make up the rest of the Top 5.
Galway ranks lowest on this list, whereas county Kildare is by far the most royal obsessed county, with Kildare town, Naas, Celbridge, Newbridge and Maynooth all making appearances.

Tipperary comes a close second, with Carrick-On-Suir, Thurles, Clonmel and Nenagh all ranking.
