Birr figure dancers secured their 7th consecutive Leinster title.
THERE were huge celebrations on Saturday last as Offaly competitors in Senior Scór celebrated winning three Leinster titles.
The first team to win was the formidable Edenderry GAA quiz team who won their 3rd consecutive Leinster title, beating Kildare by one point in the end.
Next up were the amazing Birr GAA Figure dancers, who secured their 7th consecutive Leinster title. They danced St Patrick's Day with their usual poise and elegance and will now go on to defend their All-Ireland title.
The Shamrocks GAA Ballad Group sang beautifully with haunting and enchanting harmonies and secured this group's 1st Leinster title.
Offaly also had representation in the solo-singing and Ballycumber's Aimee Leonard acquitted herself very well with her version of A Bhríd Óg Ní Mháille.
Offaly GAA wish all three groups the very best in the All-Ireland which will take place in The Royal Theatre in Castlebar on April 25th. Tickets for the All-Ireland Final will be on sale very shortly and each group would appreciate all support from Offaly and beyond.
