National Indoor throwing medal for Ferbane AC athlete

With all eyes on the 2-day National Indoor Championships taking place on 28 February and 1 March in Abbotstown, one of Offaly Athletics small clubs, Ferbane AC was not going to be left behind in this pantheon of greats.

Ferbane AC would like to extend a huge congratulations to their serial field events champion, Laura Dolan, who took silver in the Senior Women’s Weight for Distance 28lb event. Laura’s third throw, a staggering 6.46 metres took second place and into the national roll of honour.

For many years now Laura has been excelling at a county, provincial and national level and the club are truly proud of her efforts. Well done Laura and best wishes for your future endeavors.
