Jamie Knight-Lebel grabbed the equaliser as promotion-chasing Crewe secured a 1-1 draw at MK Dons in League Two.
Joe White gave the Dons an early lead, which was cancelled out by Knight-Lebel in the second half.
The Dons had lost their previous three games before welcoming Crewe, but they took an early lead against the Railwaymen.
In the ninth minute, former Crewe loanee White received Liam Kelly’s pass and found the bottom corner with a precise strike from outside the box.
Crewe’s best chance for a first-half equaliser came for Omar Bogle, who saw a strike on the turn denied by Tom McGill.
The visitors equalised in the opening 10 minutes of the second half as Knight-Lebel bundled the ball in at a corner that the Dons could not clear.
Crewe then missed a chance to complete the comeback as McGill denied Shilow Tracey in a one-on-one.
But despite plenty of effort, neither side could turn one of multiple half-chances into anything more than that as the points were ultimately shared.
