SOLAS Eco Garden Centre welcomes the Daredevil Circus for four days

The Circus @ SOLAS

The big news is the arrival of DAREDEVIL Circus for four days at SOLAS.

David Maher of SOLAS explains: "DAREDEVIL is really about the best circus out there in terms of excitement and razzmatazz with flying motorbikes and crossbow wielding acrobats – it a long way from circuses of the past.

"It was the huge success of the ‘Spin City’ carnival last year that led to Courtney’s approaching us to host their event here. SOLAS is really building a reputation as an ideal location for family events such as the Circus and the carnival.

"It really plays to our strengths as we have a five site, which means we have sufficient space to allow the events to set up and still have over 200 car parking spaces for our customers. The fact the entire site is set on a stone yard means that ground conditions are ideal regardless of the weather."

Shows this Thursday & Friday @ 7pm, Saturday 2pm & 5pm, Sunday 12.30 & 3.30pm.

This weekend will see the Food Courtyard open along with the indoor café. Our hot special this weekend will be chilli beef nachos.

SOLAS – PLANTS

Plant of the week Plant is the Salix gracilistyla 'Mount Aso'.

It is a very small shrub, deciduous with stunning pink catkins.

It is very easy to grow and will add some colour to any garden during late winter/early spring.

SOLAS – Shop

Product of the week is our huge range of Summer Bulbs. Now is the time to plant Dahlias, Lilies, Begonias, Peony Roses, Agapanthus and Crocosmia – the most vibrant flowers in the garden. These plants are available online or in store (a slightly more extensive range in shop).
