Gardaí in TV appeal to identify robbery suspect who pointed gun at staff

Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for information from the public regarding a robbery which took place at a premises in Dundalk in October.

Monday night's episode of Crimecall showed CCTV footage captured of a man walking into a premises and producing a handgun at the till as he asks the staff for money.

The employee is able to retreat to a safe room and the suspect subsequently leaves.

He is seen on CCTV running down Park Street and at one point his hood falls down revealing a receding hairline and a bald patch at the crown of his head.

The suspect is of average build and height and is assumed to be aged in his twenties or thirties.

He has dark receding hair with a bald patch along with a red beard.

The suspect can be seen in the footage wearing a hooded high visibility jacket, work trousers and black and white runners.
