Gardaí are currently at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision in co. Wicklow.
The collision occurred at approximately 12:30pm at Turlough Hill on the Wicklow Gap, and has been described by Gardaí as "serious".
The R756 road between Glendalough and the Blessington road is closed and local diversions are in place. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
It is not yet known if there have been any injuries or fatalities.
Gardaí have been contacted for more information.
