A popular lamp sold on Amazon has been recalled due to a major risk to the safety of users.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Wax Dissolving Lamp presents a risk of fire and electric shock as it is fitted with a counterfeit fuse which may not protect the product from potentially catching fire and injuring the user.
There is access to live parts which presents an electric shock hazard to the user.
The ASIN numbers are B0BYDFW8QN and B0CBBJHVGY, the other product identifier is FBA15HDB6NT8U000003, and the barcodes are X001QU52VN and X001TC6Y3X.
There are approximately 89 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
If you purchased one of these products, please stop use immediately.
