Dublin Airport has shared "very cool" previously unseen footage from the 1960s featuring old planes.
The footage was found on old cinereels by members of the Barrett family, whose grandparents can be seen among passengers boarding a Boeing 720 headed for New York.
According to Dublin Airport, the plane - reportedly named Saint Brigid - was one of the first jets to join the Aer Lingus fleet.
In a post published on X (formerly Twitter) earlier today (February 1), a Dublin Airport spokesperson stated: "The video features some very old planes and offers a glimpse into how different air travel was back then.
"It seems fitting to release the footage today on St Brigid's Day."
The scene also shows an old Capitol Airways Lockheed aircraft landing and taxiing.
