Investigations ongoing after bus driver allegedly stabbed in the head with a fork

Investigations are ongoing after a Dublin Bus driver was allegedly stabbed in the head with a fork.

The bus driver was allegedly assaulted in a staff canteen, on October 28, and gardaí have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances.

The assault occurred at approximately 10.10am on premises on Earl Place, in Dublin 1, understood to be the Dublin Bus depot.

A spokesperson for the garda said: “No arrests have been made at this time.”

Investigations are ongoing.

Dublin Bus is also investigating the incident, according to the Irish Mirror, and have stressed that they take "all incidents very seriously."
