A man has died following a workplace incident at a garage in Co Westmeath.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has confirmed it has launched an investigation into the incident which happened in Mullingar this morning.
The man, aged in his 30s, is understood to have fallen from a height at the premises.
The HSA said no further information is available.
He was pronounced dead and his body has been taken from the scene, gardaí confirmed.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place at a later time.
