New book sale in aid of St Vincent de Paul Roscrea

New book sale in aid of St Vincent de Paul Roscrea

Copies of John Feehan’s masterly Geology of Laois and Offaly will be available at a vastly reduced price thanks to the generosity of Dr Feehan.

ST Vincent de Paul Roscrea in association with the Roscrea People Book Project (who supplied all the books) will hold a new book sale on Sunday March 27th at the SVP Shop in Church Street, Rocrea from 2-4pm.
All proceeds to St Vincent de Paul Roscrea, to help provide much needed funds in these difficult times for so many people.
The sale will include all new books, including hundreds of novels and a great non-fiction selection.
Local books at giveaway prices (George Cunningham will be present to sign his). Great bargains.
SVdP and RP recognise these difficult times when even small sums of money are not available to many. They recognise the worth of books for so many and the help they give mentally. Accordingly there will be an Honesty Table with new books and a box for money for what anyone can afford to give with no questions asked.
Please Support …any help appreciated.
SVP Roscrea will also be in a position to help any Ukrainian refugees who arrive in Roscrea.
A further Book Sale for the Irish Red Cross for Ukraine will be held on Saturday April 2nd 2022 in the Methodist Hall, The Mall, Roscrea from 10am-1pm
The Book Team acknowledge with thanks the help of Gary Reilly and Steve Heavey in Ashbourne with the acquisition of the books; and grateful thanks too to Donal O'Meara and his Roscrea Express who transported the pallet of books free of charge from Co Meath to Roscrea.
