The northbound lane of the M7 motorway is closed between Roscrea and Borris-in-Ossory
The northbound lane of the M7 is closed this morning after a single vehicle crash.
Long tailbacks began building on the M7 shortly before 7am this morning (Feb 2) after a single vehicle crash in the northbound lane closed the route between Junction 22 Roscrea and Junction 21 Borris-in-Ossory.
The driver of the vehicle is believed to have suffered minor injuries and emergency services are at the scene.
Diversions are in place until the motorway reopens.
