VINCENT'S Banagher are partnering with LOETB Birr Retail students to host a Pop Up Shop!

The event will be organised and managed by the Retail Students on Thursday November 30th. The event, which will start at 10am, will carry a wide selection of modern and vintage clothes, shoes, accessories, games, music, and many items that will make ideal Christmas gifts. Chef Valerie's baked goods will also make a welcome return on the day, all to raise money for Vincent's Banagher, one of the 230 shops nationwide that serve the Society of St Vincent de Paul.

The event is one of the many partnerships between LOETB Birr and Vincent's Banagher. To date, the students have worked with Yvonne Doherty, Manager, Vincent's Banagher on a number of projects from gaining real life practical experience of working in the shop, to merchandising, retail display and a marketing plan for the store.

All of the experience gained is used back in the classroom to achieve a major award in Retail.

Eileen Kenna Quinn said "We are so lucky to have the support of Yvonne and Vincent's Banagher. This is the 3rd year we have collaborated with them and the relationship is growing from strength to strength, resulting in valuable experience for our students while also helping out such a fantastic charity in our community. The very best of luck to our Retail students and Vincent's Banagher",

Mikayla Buckley, a Retail with Digital Marketing Student added "It has been a great experience to gain real life work experience in the store that I with my team are researching and writing a marketing plan on, it gives a real insight into the sector and customers".
