Get out and enjoy the countryside with the Roscrea Trailblazers
Last Thursday night's walk was The Kinnitty Castle/Glinsk Castle Loop in The Slieve Blooms led by local man Luke John Ryan.
Luke put the group through their paces with a fine night walk through the forest. Well done to everyone who made the effort.
This Thursday night they are back at a local walk, The Golden Grove/Orange Hill Loop being led by local man Martin Ryan. Another fantastic walk if you are free on the night. Distance: 7km, Time: Two hours, Grade: Moderate. Meeting at Dromakeenan School Carpark at 7pm, please bring Hand/Head torch.
Well done to the large group that headed to climb Croagh Patrick at the weekend, a brilliant achievement and well done everyone. The very best of luck to club members Gemma Collins and Eileen Cahalan who are currently returning from Kilimanjaro and they anxiously await news of their adventure. Kilimanjaro is the tallest free standing mountain in the world at an impressive height of 5,895 mts above sea level, a mighty challenge and they are both wished a safe trip home.
The indoor climbing continues every Monday night at University Limerick and is open to everyone.
If you would like to join them on any of their night walks or weekends away you can contact Cathal on (086) 3399 193 and receive updates through WhatsApp. You will be made feel very welcome.
