Roscrea Trailblazers on one of their recent outings
Now that the long evenings are here Roscrea Trail Blazers can look forward to some fantastic walks. Last Thursday night they had a fantastic walk led by Martin Ryan.
Martin kept the group under a tight reign with a 7.5 km walk around Kinnitty Castle/Glinsk Castle Loop. It was great to see some new members turning up enjoying the outdoors. Well done Martin for taking such good care of everyone. and everyone that made the effort.
Their walk this Thursday night is the Silver River Loop at Cadamstown. A fantastic woodland/river walk and one not to be missed. Distance: 6.5km, Grade: Moderate, Time: 1.5 hours. Meeting at The Silver River Trailhead, at 7pm.
Their next Greenway walk will be the eighth and final section of The Grand Canal GreenWay on Sunday September 10th from Pollagh Village to Shannon Harbour, a distance of 19km.
