Bournea Reaching Out celebrate 10 years

You are cordially invited to help Bournea Reaching Out Historical Society celebrate its 10th anniversary with events from Saturday 12 August until Sunday 20 August coinciding with National Heritage week.

Kicking off on Saturday evening, 12th August with Mass in Clonakenny Church at 7.30pm remembering past members. Later that evening at 9.00pm in Lismackin Community Hall, we are holding our 10 years anniversary Birthday Party with old time Music & Dance.

Sunday 13th August in Clonakenny at 1pm, Kids Scavenger Hunt & BBQ Through the Source of the Nore Walking Trail. BBQ in the Norebrook Lounge.

Tuesday 15th August at 8pm in Lismackin Community Hall there will be a viewing of Bournea Reaching Out Historical Archives.
Friday 18th August at 8pm in Clonakenny we will host a visit to Castlepark Museum. It’s a wonderful Private Museum with a collection of unusual Historical items.

Saturday 19th August, starting at 12pm at Lismackin Community Hall, a bus tour to Historical Sites in neighbouring areas. Refreshments in The Cottage Tea Rooms Loughmore. Bookings Essential, Contact (087) 6826133.

Sunday 20th August at 12pm starting in Clonmore Village we will host our Historical Drive around the parish of Clonmore Refreshments afterwards in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge.
