There is a big changes coming in the weather for Ireland with Met Eireann pinpointing Sunday afternoon for when hail and thunder will hit parts of the country.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, temperatures will also drop on Sunday with rain on the way.
According to Met Eireann, on Saturday afternoon, rain and drizzle will develop in the west and will move eastwards through the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees with light to moderate southwest to west winds.
Early tonight, any rain and drizzle will clear eastwards with clear spells following. Scattered showers will spread from the Atlantic overnight. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees with light to moderate westerly breezes.
According to Met Eireann, Sunday will start off mainly dry with sunny spells. Showers in the west will spread eastwards. More prolonged showers will develop in the west in the evening with a chance of hail or thunder. It will be a noticeably cooler day with highest temperatures of just 9 to 12 degrees and mostly moderate southwest to west winds.
