Ireland is in for some good weather this August Bank Holiday Weekend with temperatures to reach as high as 21 degrees but there is a sting in the tail with Met Eireann forecasting possible unseasonably windy weather on Monday.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, there will be a good amount of dry weather on Saturday and Sunday but unsettled on Bank Holiday Monday.
According to Met Eireann, Friday morning will be mostly cloudy with isolated light showers, mainly in the north and east. It'll become drier and brighter for the afternoon and evening as the showers die out and some sunny spells develop. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, warmest in the south, in a light northwesterly breeze.
Friday night will be dry with clear spells at first but cloud will build in the west later. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with a light and variable wind.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Saturday morning will start dry and there'll be sunny spells in the east. Cloud will spread from the west through the morning and afternoon, bringing some patches of light rain or drizzle. Showery rain will develop in the west by evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees with a moderate southwesterly breeze.
Cloudy with showery rain moving eastwards across the country on Saturday night. Clear spells and scattered showers will follow in the north and west by morning. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees with a moderate southwest to west breeze.
According to Met Eireann, cloud and rain will clear from the southeast on Sunday morning and for the rest of the day there'll be a good amount of dry and bright weather, with just a few showers in the northwest. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees with a moderate to fresh westerly wind, easing later.
