Students at Offaly school take part in innovative bodhrán-making workshop

Students from Colaiste Naomh Cormac display their bodhráns.

TY students Coláiste Naomh Cormac in Kilcormac took part in a bodhrán-making workshop with craftsman Michael Vignoles.

Michael provided each student with a complete kit, including a wooden frame, goatskin, crossbars, and brass tacks.

Students then had the opportunity to personalise their bodhráns with unique designs, adding a creative touch to the traditional instrument.

A big thank you to Michael for sharing his time, skills, and expertise — students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned a great deal from the workshop. ️
