Copper cylinder among items stolen as two Offaly houses hit by burglars

A copper cylinder was among the items stolen as two Offaly houses were hit by burglars recently.

On Monday March 24, between 2pm and 4pm, a burglar entered a residential property on Main Street, Shinrone, while the owner was present in the house.

The burglar stole a mobile phone and wallet containing a small amount of cash.

Sometime on the night of Thursday, March 27 into the morning of Friday, March 28, the front door of a vacant house on Main Street in Banagher was forcibly opened.

During the burglary a copper cylinder was stolen.
