Offaly to host four GOAL Miles this Christmas season

THE GOAL Mile will see over 25,000 people running or walking a mile, in 170 locations in villages, towns, and cities across Ireland this Christmas to raise funds for some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

This year in Offaly, four GOAL Miles will be taking place in the following locations:

Emmet Square, Birr, Christmas Day, 1pm.

Kinnitty GAA Club, Christmas Day, 9.30am.

Edenderry AC Seniors, Derry Rovers Track, St Stephen's Day, 10am.

Kilclonfert GAA, Saturday December 30th, 1.30pm.

Speaking about why he supports GOAL Mile, Stephen Bradley, Head Coach, Shamrock Rovers FC, said, “Shamrock Rovers is in a position to make a difference and supporting GOAL Mile feels like the right thing to do.
