Huge response to Roscrea Christmas Shoebox appeal

Local Tipperary town urging people to donate with Christmas shoeboxes

Roscrea always gave great support to the Christmas appeal

A total of 180 shoeboxes filled with items for children were delivered to the depot in Nenagh recently by Kay Browne and Heather Evans.

The shoebox appeal is a project operated by the Irish charity Team Hope whereby shoeboxes are delivered to needy children mostly in Eastern Europe for Christmas.

Last year the entire supply of shoeboxes from the Nenagh depot were transported to Ukraine.

Kay and Heather would like to thank most sincerely everyone who contributed towards this project which will put a big smile on 180 children for Christmas. Further details www.teamhope.ie.
