VERONICA Flynn, an accountant from Edenderry, has beaten her fellow students from all over the country to win a prestigious award from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA).
Veronica, who currently works at Patterson Pump Ireland Ltd, received a prize from the CPA for scoring the highest marks of any student sitting the Professional 1 Corporate Laws and Governance exam in Clane College, Kildare.
The prize was sponsored by Des Lowry from Amatino Partners and was presented at the CPA Annual Conferring Ceremony at the Helix DCU, on December 10.
CPA Ireland is one of the main Irish accountancy bodies, with more than 5,000 members and students in the island of Ireland. The CPA title is the most commonly used designation internationally for professional accountants and the Institute’s qualification enjoys worldwide recognition.
Its current membership operates in public practice, industry, financial services and the public sector and CPAs work in over 32 countries around the world.
