Roscrea's return to the 80's raises over €10,000 for the Share a Dream Foundation

People in Roscrea stepped into a time machine in The Central Bar on Market Square in May and relived the wonder years of Twlight Disco for the worthy cause of supporting the Share a Dream Foundation

Roscrea returned to the 1980's earlier this summer to raise money for charity and over €10k was raised by the very successful and fun nostalgic event courtesy of the legendary Twilight Disco.

People in Tipperary and Offaly will remember with great fondness the wonderful nights of the Twilight Disco - where dreams were made, hearts were broken and the memories were made.

In May the Roscrea Friends Community, a group set up to organise charity events in the midlands, held its first event, 'We're Bringing Back The 80s' - an 80s themed night - on May 10th in The Central Bar on Market Square in Roscrea.

The event successfully raised €10,852.37 and all proceeds raised went to the Share a Dream charity and have facilitated these visits from the children of Roscrea and contribute to the ongoing amazing work the charity carries out natioally.
